The Pines is a peaceful retreat at the beach at the Gulf of Thailand, near a small village outside Prachuap Khiri Khan. Offering a relaxing environment to unwind and recharge, our guests can enjoy our service and facilities as swimming pool, gym, bikes, thai and western catering as well our direct access to the beach. The area around offers scenic spots for exploration and cafés to relax for all ages. Whether for rest or adventure, The Pines is the perfect seaside escape and your next vacation.

Our Guesthouse offers hospitality for all your needs – as well for families, singles or couples.
The property is divided into a Beach side and a Garden side, with a variety of accommodations. All bedrooms have air conditioning, fans, wifi, fridge and a separated bathroom.
The Pines is sustained by donations from our guests. Please contact us for suggested donations for your stay. For the use of air condition an additional fee will be charged.

If you’re in the mood for adventure, there are several exciting destinations within walking distance, including a Aquarium and an Science Museum. For those who love the outdoors, Ao Manao Beach is a serene public beach known for its calm waters and friendly monkeys on the airforce base. You can also explore local waterfalls and mountain trails within the national parks nearby, perfect for hiking and sightseeing.

Directions
There are many ways to get to The Pines. If you don’t have your own car, we would highly recommend a Private Door to Door Van, we can arrange one for you (especially if you are flying into Bangkok or Hua Hin).
There are also cheaper options, but you will need to do your own research and arrange these yourself – including how to get from Prachuap Town to The Pines (Note: There are no Taxi or Grab services in this area).
The Pines does not pick up or drop off guests.

Getting Around
The Pines is located just 3 km from Khlongwan and 13 km from Prachuap Khiri Khan town. While there is no public transportation, we can help arrange transport for your outings. Limited motorbike-sidecar and taxi services are available for hire.
Travel options
Train
In Bangkok the Train leaves at “Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station”.
You can buy your online-ticket at Thailand Railway or directly at the train station (starting from 300 baht depending on the class of train).

Please note that not all southbound trains stop at Prachuap and often the stops are not announced on the train.
Private Door-to-Door Van
We can book you a private van to take you directly to The Pines.
The cost is approximately 3,000 Baht for 4 people or less and approximately 3,500 Baht for 5 people or more from anywhere in Bangkok. Airport pick up is 100 Baht extra.
Please contact us at least 2 weeks ahead of time to arrange a private van booking.

Walk in the main front entrance of the terminal. In front of you will see “Building Information”. To the right of this building is a signpost. Turn right and walk down to Ticket Building D.
Go to counter 1. (It is on the far left as you walk in the door. Near the TV monitor on the wall)
Ask for ticket to The Pines, Prachuap (290 baht per person). You may need to book an extra seat for luggage.

After you buy a ticket, the lady will ask you to sit on some seats directly opposite Counter 1. The van departure time is on the top of your ticket. When the van is ready, the lady will direct you to the driver, who will take you to the van. Usually the van departs from platform 45.
The van makes one bathroom/toilet stop about 2-3 hours into the journey. If you need to stop for the bathroom/toilet just tell the driver. The trip to The Pines takes between 4-6 hours.

Prachuap to The Pines
The Pines is about 13 kms south of Prachuap Khiri Khan township. The road goes through the village of Klongwaan and The Pines is located 3 kms further south in the Waghor district. You can see a silver gate at each side of the road, as well a sign “The Pines”.
